CLASSIFICATION OF PUBLIC OFFICERS.

SECTION 220. Classification of Public Officers.

SEC. 220. The public officers of this State are classi

fied as follows:

1. Legislative;

2. Executive;

3. Judicial;

4. Ministerial officers and officers of the Courts;

But this classification is not to be construed as defining the legal powers of either class.

SEC. 226. The term of office of a Senator is four years; Term of of a member of the Assembly, two years.

SEC. 229. The members of the Assembly must be elected at the general election in the year eighteen hundred and seventy-three, and at the general election every two years thereafter.
