House concurrent resolution No. 14, passed by the twentieth legislative assembly at its special session in September and October, 1898, authorizing the publication of this journal, reads as follows: HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 14. Be it resolved by the house, the senate concurring, That the secretary of state be instructed to furnish to the state printer for publication, as required by law, true copies of the records of the proceedings of this legislative assembly as shown by the journals thereof, and the laws, resolutions and memorials passed at this session and the senate journal of the nineteenth legislative assembly, the compensation for such transcripts to be such as is prescribed by law for like services in other cases, and such copies of the laws to be furnished within sixty days from the date of the adjournment of this assembly. The original copies of said laws, journals, resolutions and memorials shall be safely kept on file in the office of the secretary of state, as required by law. Adopted by the house, October 6, 1898.
