ENCOURAGEMENT TO THE RIGHTEOUS TO CONFIDE IN GOD'S UNMERITED MERCY AND LOVING-KINDNESS, AND IN HIS IMMU. TABLE PROMISES.

THE Lord hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and sure, for this is all my salvation, and all my desire.-I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever.-And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknow

Tedge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.-God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will we not fear though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea: though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. to thy bottle: are they not in thy book? In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.-Trust in him at all times: ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.-My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips, when I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.-Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove, covered with silver, and her feathers with

thou hast covered all their sin.— Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. Thou art the glory of their strength; and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. The. Lord is our defence: and the holy one of Israel is our King. He shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel. Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting thou art God.
