335 ÆäÀÌÁö - The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Shar'on, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
310 ÆäÀÌÁö - For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
351 ÆäÀÌÁö - My grace is sufficient for thee : for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake : for when I am weak, then am I strong.
10 ÆäÀÌÁö - And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
310 ÆäÀÌÁö - But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment, let us be therewith content.
13 ÆäÀÌÁö - MY soul, be on thy guard, Ten thousand foes arise; The hosts of sin are pressing hard To draw thee from the skies. 2 Oh watch, and fight, and pray ; The battle ne'er give o'er; Renew it boldly every day, And help divine implore.
270 ÆäÀÌÁö - How precious is the book divine, By inspiration given ! Bright as a lamp its doctrines shine To guide our souls to heaven. 2 It sweetly cheers our drooping hearts In this dark vale of tears ; Life, light, and joy, it still imparts, And quells our rising fears. 3 This lamp, through all the tedious night Of life, shall guide our way; Till we behold the clearer light Of an eternal day.
256 ÆäÀÌÁö - ... a sum of not less than one lac of rupees in each year shall be set apart and applied to the revival and improvement of literature, and the encouragement of the learned natives of India, and for the introduction and promotion of a knowledge of the sciences among the inhabitants of the British territories in India...
12 ÆäÀÌÁö - For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.
304 ÆäÀÌÁö - Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways! I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.
