1. BLEST Redeemer ! power in heaven
And in earth to Thee is given ;
Lead and guide us in Thy way. ; . 2. Lo! we make Thy paths our choice,
Grace we ask t'obey Thy voice;
Points the way, or bids us stand.
May we ever watchful be;
Lest we tread where others dare.
Meekness, wisdom, strength of heart;
1. COME, O Saviour, long expected,
Born to set Thy people free ;
We shall find our rest in Thee. 2. Israel's strength and consolation,
Hope of all the saints Thou art;
Joy of ev'ry waiting heart. 3. Born Thy people to deliver ;
Born a child, and yet a king; Born to reign in us for ever,
Now Thy gracious kingdom bring. 4. By Thine own eternal Spirit,
In our hearts rule Thou alone;
Raise us to Thy glorious throne.

1. SOVEREIGN Ruler of the skies,
Ever gracious, ever wise !
All events at Thy command. 2. Times of sickness, times of health;
Times of penury and wealth ;
Times of triumph and relief : 3. Times the tempter's power to prove ;
Times to taste a Saviour's love;
As shall please my heavenly Friend. 4. O Thou gracious, wise, and just,
In Thy hands my life I trust :
I resign it to Thy will.
Yield my all at Thy command :
1. LORD, that I may learn of Thee,
Give me true simplicity;
Wean'd and kept from things below. 2. Let me freely cast aside
All that feeds my boastful pride;
Meekly learning at Thy feet. 3. Father, I would rest on Thee,
Lowly as a child should be;
Walking only in Thy might.
Let the Cross my glory prove :
