A., Fruit and Vegetable Market News Branch in Washington tabulates the rail information from reports which were furnished by the various originating rail lines, and was the source of the rail data. Citrus truck shipments were from the certified records of the Florida Citrus Inspection Service. Vegetable truck shipments shown here were collected through the help of the Floria Road Guard Inspection Stations at check points strategically located along the St. Mary's River and Suwanee River. Mixed rail carlot analysis was made by the U. S. D. A., Florida Crop Reporting Service. Reported crop year in this publication extends from September 1 through August 31.
