But, we were created for something higher and more glorious than worldly ambition: our Infants furnish indubitable evidence of this in the correct and comprehensive ideas they give out of the great scheme of human redemption; the reverential manner in which they habitually speak of the Divine Being; the eager ness with which they ask the way to Zion, and the comfortable manner in which many of them have left the world. These circumstances encourage us to proceed in our work, and press home with reiterated force the command of the Saviour, Suf fer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
