What are the functions of the anterior and posterior roots of a spinal nerve? Show how their respective functions have been ascertained. Give a diagram to show the general arrangement and connection of the spinal and sympathetic nervous systems of a frog. 6. Describe in the frog the circulation of blood to and from (a) The region of the head and fore-limbs; (b) The alimentary system. 7. Give diagrams and descriptive notes in illustration of the processes of respiration and excretion in the frog. Describe the process of absorption and the structure of the organs by which it is effected. 6. Describe the growing points of the stems of Pteris and Vicia. 7.
