O Lord, the only begotten Son Jefu Chrift; O Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, that takeft away the fins of the world, have mercy upon us. Thou that takest away the fins of the world, have mercy upon us. Thou that takeft away the fins of the world, receive our prayer. Thou that fitteft at the right hand of God the Father, have mercy upon us.

For thou only art holy, thou only art the Lord; thou only, O Chrift, with the Holy Ghost, art most high in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

Then the Prieft (or Bishop, if he be prefent) shall turn to the People, and let them depart with this Bleffing.

Almighty Lord and everlasting God, vouchfafe, we beseech thee, to direct, fanctify, and govern both our hearts and bodies in the ways of thy laws and in the works of thy commandments, that through thy most mighty protection, both here and ever, we may be preferved in body and foul, through our Lord and Saviour Jefus Christ. Amen.

Grant, we beseech thee, Almighty God, that the

words which we have heard this day with our outward ears, may through thy grace be fo grafted inwardly in our hearts, that they may bring forth in us the fruit of good living, to the honour and praise of thy Name, through Jefus Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRevent us, O Lord, in all our doings with

thy most gracious favour, and further us with thy continual help, that in all our works begun, continued, and ended in thee, we may glorify thy holy Name, and finally by thy mercy obtain everlafting life, through Jefus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ALmighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, who knoweft our neceffities before we ask, and our ignorance in asking; We beseech thee to have compaffion upon our infirmities; and

thofe things, which for our unworthinefs we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask, vouchfafe to give us for the worthiness of thy Son Jefus Chrift our Lord. Amen.

ALmighty God, who haft promised to hear the

petitions of them that ask in thy Son's Name; We beseech thee mercifully to incline thine ears to us, that have made now our prayers and fupplications unto thee; and grant, that those things which we have faithfully asked according to thy will, may effectually be obtained, to the relief of our neceffity, and to the fetting forth of thy glory, through Jefus Christ our Lord. Amen.

After the Sermon or Homily is ended or if there be no Sermon or Homily, after the Nicene Creed is ended if there, be no Communion, the Priest ball turn to the People, and fay, Let us pray. And then turning to the Altar, he fhall stand before it, and fay one or more of thefe Collects laft ore rebearfed, concluding with the Bleffing.

And every Prieft fhall either administer or receive the Holy Communion every Feftival, that is, every Sunday and Holy-day, except he cannot get two perfons to communicate with him, or except be be hindred by fickness or fome other urgent cause. And every Prieft fhall inform the People of the Advantage and Neceffity of receiving the Holy Communion frequently: He shall likewise exhort them not to neglect coming often to God's Altar, becaufe

because they have but little to give at the Offer: tory. For he shall inftruct them, that provided they frequent the Holy Communion, their Offering will be accepted by God, tho' it be never so little, if it be given according to their abilities with a chearful and devout heart.

And to take away all occafion of diffenfion and fuperftition, it shall fuffice that the Bread be fuch as is ufual to be eaten, but the best and pureft Wheat-Bread that conveniently may be gotten.

If there be any persons who through fickness or any other urgent cause are under a Neceffity of communicating at their houses, then the Prieft Shall referve at the open Communion so much of the Sacrament of the Body and Blood, as Shall ferve those who are to receive at home. And if after that, or if, when none are to communicate at their houses, any of the confecrated Elements remain, then it shall not be carried out of the Church; but the Priest, and fuch other of the Communicants as he shall then call unto him, shall immediately after the Blef fing reverently eat and drink the fame.

The Money given at the Offertory being folemnly devoted to God, the Prieft fhall take fo much out of it as will defray the charge of the Bread and Wine; and the remainder he Shall keep or part of it, or difpofe of it or part of it to pious or charitable uses, according to the difcretion of the Bishop.
