But, besides the light of nature, we have the light of rev elation for this point: God hath expressly appointed in his word one day in seven, to be kept holy for h1s solemn wor ship; neither hath he left the articular day to men's own choice, but hath chosen it for t em. And now, in the New Testament, he points out the first day of the week to be the Christian Sabbath to the end of the world, as is made evi dent in the following treatise.
