2. O let me have understanding : in the way of godliness.

3. When wilt thou come unto me: I will walk in my house with a perfect heart.

PSALM CVIII., 3.- I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the people : I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

4. For thy mercy is greater than the heavens : and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.

1. Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous : for it becometh well the just to be thankful.

SOLO BASS AND FULL. 3. Sing unto the Lord a new song ; sing praises cheerfully unto him with a good courage.

FULL. 5. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. Amen.

1. Why do the heathen so furiously rage together: and why do the people imagine a vain thing ?

2. The kings of the earth stand up, and the rulers take counsel together : against the Lord, and against his Anointed.

3. Let us break their bonds asunder : and cast away their cords from us.

VERSE, TWO TREBLES. 4. He that dwelleth in heaven shall laugh them to scorn : the Lord shall have them in derision.

FULL, FOUR VOICES. 5. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath : and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6. Yet have I set my King : upon my holy hill of Sion.

1. Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? This that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength ? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

2. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the wine-fat ?

SOLO BASS. 3. I have trodden the wine-press alone, and of the people there was none with me : for I will tread them in mine anger, and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments.

4. For the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

5. And I looked, and there was none to help ; and I wondered there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation, and my fury it upheld me.
