106. I have sworn, and am steadfastly purposed : to keep thy righteous judgments.

1. I was glad when they said unto me : we will go into the house of the Lord.

O all ye people clap your hands,

And make a cheerful noise ;
With acclamations to your God,
Declare your inward joys.

His high perfections
Proclaim him greatly to be feared,
This King of all the earth

1. O sing unto the Lord a new song. Hallelujah. Sing unto the Lord, all the whole earth. Hallelujah.

2. Sing unto the Lord, and praise his name : be telling of his salvation from day to day.

SOLO BASS. 3. Declare his honour among the heathen : and his wonders unto all people.

6. Glory and worship are before him : power and honour are in his sanctuary.

TREBLE AND COUNTER TENOR. 4. For the Lord is great and cannot worthily be praised : he is more to be feared than all gods.

5. As for all the gods of the heathen, they are but idols : but it is the Lord that made the heavens.

VERSE, FOUR VOICES. 9. O worship the Lord, in the beauty of holiness : let the whole earth stand in awe of him.

1. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord : he hath great delight in his commandments.

2. His seed shall be mighty upon earth : the generation of the faithful shall be blessed.

3. Riches and plenteousness shall be in his house : and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4. Unto the godly there ariseth up light in the darkness : he is merciful, loving, and righteous.

9. He hath dispersed abroad, and given to the poor : a good man is merciful, his name shall be exalted with honour. Hallelujah.
