1873.-MONUMENTAL INSCRIPTIONS FROM OTHER COUNTIES.— It is proposed from time to time to insert exact copies of monumental inscriptions from other counties, more or less connected with Gloucestershire; and contributions of such, accurately transcribed, will be gladly received. Near this place | are interred the remains of John Windham, | of this Parish, Esq., youngest son of Thomas Windham, | of Clearwell, in the County of Gloucester, Esq', who died on the 26 of April, 1763, in the 37th year of his age. He married Elizabeth, daughter of Richard Dalton, of the County of Lincoln, Esq., by whom he left issue one son and two daughters, | George, Charlotte, & Sophia. | Elizabeth, his wife, departed this life | the 19th January, 1785, aged 58 years.

In memory of the Revd Samuel Lee, D.D., | Rector of Barley, | Canon in the Cathedral Church of Bristol, and late Regius Professor of Hebrew in the University of Cambridge, departed this life | December 16th, 1852, | aged 69 years.

Liddington, Wilts], & daughter of the Revad James Sessions, Rector of Downtisburn [Duntesbourn Rous], in ye County of Gloucester (together wth those of her infants, Thomas & | Catherine). She was a devout | & charitable Christian, a dutifull | daughter, an affectionate wife & mother, & a sincere friend with- out art or reserve. She died abovt yo 30th y' of her age on ye 27th of Oct. 1715.
