An Act to extend the time for the collection of taxes in the town of Beaver The people of the State of Wisconsin, represented in SECTION 1. The time for collecting the taxes in the town of Beaver Dam, in the county of Dodge, is hereby extended twenty days beyond the time now required by law, and the treasurer of said town shall have the same right to levy on property, and sell the same within said time so extended, as is allowed by law for purposes of collecting taxes. SEC. 2. This act shall take effect from and after its passage. Approved, January 29, 1855. Town assessor of Lewiston Chapter 22. An Act to provide for a special assessment and collection of taxes in the town of Lewiston and county of Columbia. The people of the State of Wisconsin, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows: SECTION 1. The town assessor of the town of Lewiston, in the county of Columbia, is hereby authorized and emauthorized to powered to make out an assessment roll of all the taxable assess property personal property and real estate therein, and appraise the same in the manner now prescribed by law. When to be completed. SEC. 2. The assessor shall complete the assessment roll of said town in the manner now prescribed by law, and certify and deliver the same to the town clerk of said town on or before the first day of March, A. D., 1855. SFC. 3. The town clerk of said town, within ten days after the delivery of the assessment roll as provided by section two of this act, shall calculate and carry out the amount of taxes chargeable to said town, in the manner prescribed by section 50, chapter fifteen of the revised statutes. SEC. 5. The People of the State of Wisconsin, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows: SECTION 1. The time for collecting taxes in the city of Time extended Janesville, in the county of Rock, is hereby extended for collecting fifteen days beyond the time now required by law, and taxes in Janesthe treasurer of said city shall have the same right to levy on property and sell the same within said time so extended as is now allowed by law for such purposes.
