The Probate and Succession Duty Act.-1876.

regulating such appeal, but the Local Court of Adelaide aforesaid shall also have the power to make such order as to the payment of the costs of the appeal as it shall think fit, although such costs may exceed Ten Pounds.

72. The Governor may frame all such regulations and forms as may be necessary for carrying out the provisions of this Act; and all such regulations and forms, when published in the Government Gazette, shall have the force of law, and they shall be laid before both Houses of Parliament forthwith if Parliament be then sitting; and if not, then within twenty-one days after the commencement of the next Session.

An Act to amend the "Main Roads Act, 1874."

[Assented to 20th September, 1876.]

HEREAS it is desirable to amend the "Main Roads Act, Preamble.

WE 1874," by placing certain roads on the Schedule of Main

Roads of the Province-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1. From and after the passing of this Act, the "Main Roads Act, Amendment of third 1874," shall be read and construed as if the lines

"79A. From Minlaton to Stansbury,"

"79B. From Port Victoria south-east to junction of main road from Maitland to Minlaton, westerly of Mount Rat,"

"79c. From Port Victoria, via Maitland, to Ardrossan,"

had been inserted in the Third Schedule thereto, setting forth the Main Roads of the Province, between the line

"79. From Weaner's Flat to Stansbury,"

and the line

"80. From Weaner's Flat to Waterloo Bay."

2. Clause numbered 42 in the "Main Roads Act, 1874," shall Members entitled to be read and have effect as if the words "one shilling" were therein inserted in lieu of the word "sixpence."

3. This Act and the said Act shall be incorporated and read and construed together as one Act.

4. This Act may be cited as the "Main Roads Act Amendment Act, 1876."
