The King has also been graciously pleased to present the Rev. Alexander M'Leod to the church or chapel at Cromarty, vacant by the death of the Rev. Alexander M'Leod, late Minister there.

The King has been pleased to direct letters patent to be passed under the Great Seal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, for granting the dignity of a Baronet of the said United Kingdom to Abraham Bradley King, of Corrard, in the county of Fermanagh, and of Bloomsbury, in the county of Dublin, Esq. Lord Mayor of the city of Dublin, and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten.

THE King was this day pleased to confer the honour of Kuighthood on Richard Birnie, Esq. Chief Magistrate at the Public Office, Bow-street.

The King has been pleased to grant unto RearsAdmiral Sir John-Poo Beresford, Baronet, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Military Order of the Bath, His Majesty's royal licenceand permission that he may accept and wear the insignia of a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Portuguese Military Order of the Tower and Sword, which His Majesty the King of Portugal hath been pleased to confer upon that Officer, in testimony of his distinguished services before the enemy:

And also to command, that the said royal concession and declaration be registered, together with the relative documents, in His Majesty's College: of Arms.

LONDON GAZETTE of SEPTEMBER 29, 1821.

THE following Address, from the Inhabitants and Visitors of the Town of Ramsgate and its Vicinity, was presented to the King at Rams-gate, previous to His Majesty's embarking for the Continent; which Address His Majesty was pleased: to receive very graciously :.

To the KING's Most Excellent Majesty.

WE, your Majesty's dutiful and loyal subjects, the Inhabitants and Visitors of the Town of Rams-gate, and its Vicinity, beg leave respectfully to. approach your Majesty's most sacred Person, to testify the unfeigned joy and happiness which we this day experience by your Majesty having most graciously condescended to honour us with your royal presence.

That after a prosperous voyage to your Majesty's Continental Dominions, you may shortly returnto continue your reign for many, many years over a loyal and happy people, is our most ardent wish.

To which Address His Majesty was pleased to return the following most gracious answer:

"Gentlemem,

"I receive with great satisfaction the loyal and dutiful Address of the Inhabitants and Visitors of Ramsgate, as well as the general testimony of at

tachment and affection from all classes of My subjects.

"I am leaving My united kingdom for a short period only, and thank you for your cordial expressions of good wishes for My return.

"It is not My first visit to this attractive place, and I heartily hope it may not be the last."

Whitehall, September 29, 1821.

On Tuesday the 25th instant, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, the King embarked at Ramsgate on board His Majesty's Yacht the Royal George, and set sail for Calais, where His Majesty arrived, in perfect health, at four o'clock in the afternoon of that day.

Their Excellencies the Lords Justices met at the Council-Chamber, Whitehall, on Wednesday the 26th instant, and opened their commission; when they were pleased to appoint William Hamilton, Henry Goulburn, and Henry Hobhouse, Esqrs, to be their Secretaries.

The King was this day pleased to confer the honour of Knighthood upon Henry Askew, Esq. Major-General of His Majesty's Forces, and Com panion of the Most Honourable Military Order of the Bath.

The King has been pleased to appoint Charles Chamberlain, Esq. to be His Majesty's Consul for the province of Murcia, to reside at Carthagena.

The King has also been pleased to approve of Mr. Henshaw Latham as Consul at Dover, for His Majesty the King of the Netherlands.

The King has also been pleased to approve of Mr. Henshaw Latham as Vice-Consul at Dover, for His Majesty the King of the Two Sicilies.

The King has also been pleased to approve of Don Ignacio Perez de Lema, as Consul-General in London for the King of the Spains.

The King has also been pleased to approve of Mr. Liugi Andrea Lautard-Vigola, as ConsulGeneral at Gibraltar for His Majesty the King of Sardinia.
