The King has been pleased to give and grant unto Arthur-Marcus-Cecil Hill, Esq. (commonly called Lord Arthur Marcus Cecil Hill), His royal licence and permission, that he may accept and wear the insignia of a Knight Commander of the Royal Portuguese Military Order of the Tower and Sword, which His Most Faithful Majesty John the Sixth, late King of Portugal, Brazil, and the Algarves, was pleased to confer upon him in the year 1825, in testimony of His royal approbation of his Lordship's conduct while actually employed in His said Majesty's service:

And also to command, that the said concession and especial mark of His royal favour be registered, together with the relative documents, in His Majesty's College of Arms.

THE King has been pleased to direct letters patent to be passed under the Great Seal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, constituting and appointing the Right Honourable Robert Viscount Melville, K. T.; the Right Honourable Sir George Cockburn, G. C. B. and Vice-Admiral of the White Squadron of His Majesty's Fleet; the Honourable Sir Henry Hotham, K. C. B. and ViceAdmiral of the Blue Squadron of His Majesty's Fleet; Sir George Clerk, Bart.; and George Charles Pratt, Esq. (commonly called Earl of Brecknock); His Majesty's Commissioners for executing the office of High Admiral of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and the dominions, islands, and territories thereunto belonging.

The King has been pleased to give and grant unto Lieutenant-General Sir Frederick Adam, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Military Order of the Bath, and Lord High Commissioner in and to the United States of the Ionian Islands, His royal licence and permission that he may accept and wear the insignia of the Imperial Russian Order of Saint Anne of the first class, and of a Knight of the Imperial Austrian Military Order of Maria Theresa, which their Imperial Majesties the late Emperor of Russia and the Emperor of Austria were pleased to confer upon him, in testimony of the high sense those Sovereigns entertained of his services before the enemy in the Netherlands, in the 1815: year

And also to command, that the said concession and especial mark of His Majesty's royal favour be -registered, together with the relative documents, in the Collge of Arms.

The King has been pleased to give and grant unto Lieutenant-General Sir John Lambert, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Military Order of the Bath, Colonel of the 10th (or North Lincolnshire) Regiment of Foot, His royal licence and permission that he may accept and wear the insignia of the Imperial Russian Order of St. Wladimir of the third class, and of a Commander of the Royal Bavarian Order of Maximilian Joseph, which their late Majesties the Emperor of Russia and the King of Bavaria were pleased to confer upon him, in testimony of the high sense those Sovereigns entertained of his services before the enemy in the Netherlands, in the year 1815:

And also to command, that the said concession and especial mark of His Majesty's royal favour be registered, together with the relative documents, in the College of Arms.
