HE King has been graciously pleased to appoint the Right Honourable David Montague Lord Erskine-now His Majesty's Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the King of Wurtemberg-to be His Majesty's Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the King of Bavaria.

The King has also been graciously pleased to appoint Edward Cromwell Disbrowe, Esq.-now Secretary to His Majesty's Embassy, and acting Minister Plenipotentiary at the Court of St. Petersburghto be His Majesty's Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the King of Wurtemberg.

The King has been pleased to appoint Walter Francis Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry to be Lieutenant and Sheriff Principal of the shire of Mid Lothian, in the room of the Earl of Morton, deceased.

The King has been pleased to direct letters patent to be passed under the Great Seal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, nominating, presenting, and appointing the Reverend William Ward, Doctor in Divinity, to the Bishoprick of the Isle of Man and Sodor, void by the translation of Doctor George Murray, late Bishop thereof, to the See of Rochester.
