At the time of filing an information in the nature of a quo warranto, a rule shall also be filed with the clerk of the court, requiring the respondent to plead to such information within 20 days after service upon him of the summons and a copy of such information, together with a copy of such rule. The respondent shall plead to such information within 20 days after service upon him of said summons and a copy of such information, together with a copy of such rule, and in default thereof judgment by default may be entered. Within 20 days after filing and serving such plea, replication shall be filed thereto, and said cause shall be deemed to be at issue. The issue so framed shall be at once placed upon the calendar of the then pending term for trial, upon due notice by either party, and shall be given precedence over all civil cases. |
