court, and wait there: the carriages of all other persons having the entrée are likewise to set down in the Middle-court, and wait in the Stable-yard, or St. James's-park, till called: they are then to take up in the same order as they had set down, and pass away up St. James's-street.

No carriage will be admitted with company a second time with the same ticket; to prevent which, it must be produced at Constitution-hillgate, and Stable-yard-gate also, where a corner of it will be torn off by the Marshalmen in attendance; and no person can be allowed the privilege of the entrée by any other approach to the Palace than as above directed.

The Queen has been pleased to grant unto Patrick Allan, of Hospitalfield, in the parish of St. Vigeans, in the shire of Forfar, and of Hawkesbury-Hall, in the parish of Foleshill, in the county of Warwick, Esquire, and to Elizabeth, his wife, only child and heir of John Fraser, of Hospitalfield aforesaid, Esquire, deceased, by Elizabeth, his wife, also deceased, Her Majesty's royal licence and authority that they may, in order to manifest their grateful and affectionate respect for the memory of the said Elizabeth Fraser, and also for the memory of her late husband, the said John Fraser, take and henceforth use the surname of Fraser, in addition to and after that of Allan, that the said Patrick Allan may bear the arms of Fraser, and that such surname of Fraser, in ad

dition to that of Allan, and the arms of Fraser may be taken, used, and borne by the issue of their marriage; such arms being first duly exemplified according to the laws of arms, and recorded in the Herald's Office, otherwise the said licence and permission to be void and of none effect:

And also to command that the said royal concession and declaration be registered in Her Majesty's College of Arms.

THE Queen has been pleased to approve of D. Miguel Tacon, Marquess del Bayamo, as Consul-General in the United Kingdom for Her Majesty the Queen of Spain.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint Stephen John Hill, Esq. Brevet Major in the Army, to be Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Forts and Settlements, and their dependencies, on the Gold Coast.

Her Majesty has also been pleased to appoint Samuel Wensley Blackall, Esq. Major in the Royal Longford Regiment of Militia, to be LieutenantGovernor of the Island of Dominica.
