The Queen has been pleased to grant unto Cassius Matthew Clanchy, of Burleighfield, in the county of Leicester, Esquire, Lieutenant-Colonel in Her Majesty's Army, and to Rebecca, his wife, daughter of Nathaniel Palmer Johnson, of Burleighfield aforesaid, Esquire, and only surviving sister of Nathaniel Palmer Johnson, late of Astonupon-Trent, in the county of Derby, Clerk, deceased, Her royal licence and authority that they may, in compliance with an injunction contained in the last will and testament of the Reverend Nathaniel Palmer Johnson (the said brother of the said Rebecca Clanchy), take and henceforth use the surname of Johnson, instead of that of Clanchy, and that he, the said Cassius Matthew Clanchy, may bear the arms of Johnson; such arms being first duly exemplified according to the laws of arms, and recorded in the Herald's office, otherwise the said licence and permission to be void and of none effect:

And also to command that the said royal concession and declaration be registered in Her Majesty's College of Arms.

Honourable Thomas Brand), of the Hoo, in the county of Hertford, eldest son and heir apparent of Henry Otway Trevor (formerly Henry Otway Brand), now Baron Dacre, Her royal licence and authority that he may, in compliance with an injunction contained in the last will and testament of the Right Honourable John Viscount Hampden, deceased, henceforth take and use the surname of Trevor only, and also bear the arms of Trevor, such arms being first duly exemplified according to the laws of arms and recorded in the Herald's Office, otherwise Her Majesty's said licence and permission to be void and of none effect:

And also to command that the said royal concession and declaration be registered in Her Majesty's College of Arms.

THIS Gazette contains an Order in Council, dated the 14th day of April 1851, approving the scheme duly prepared by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for England for determining the portion of the improved value to be made payable to the said Commissioners in a certain lease of a coal mine about to be granted by the rector of Middleton, in the county of Lancaster.

The Queen has been pleased to give and grant unto Sydney Davies Towle, of River Cottage, in the parish of St. Mary, Islington, in the county of Middlesex, Gentleman, and Mary Ann, his Wife, daughter of Henry Lodge, of Stoke Newington, in the said county, Gentleman, and Widow of Samuel Huggett (formerly Samuel Potter), late of Broadstairs, in the parish of Saint Peter the Apostle, in the Isle of Thanet, and county of Kent, Surgeon, deceased, Her royal licence and authority that they may, in compliance with a proviso contained in the last will and testament of Mary Ann Huggett, of Ramsgate, in the said Isle of Thanet, Widow and Relict of Paulin Huggett, of Stone Farm, in the said parish of Saint Peter the Apostle, Gentleman, deceased, respectively take and use the surname of Huggett only, instead of their present surname of Towle; and that the said Sydney Davies Towle may take and bear the arms of Huggett only; and that the said surname and arms of Huggett only may be taken, borne, and used by the issue of their marriage, such arms being first duly exemplified according to the laws of arms, and recorded in the Herald's Office, otherwise the said royal licence to be void and of none effect:
