Downing-Street, January 3, 1851. THE Queen has been pleased to appoint
| Charles Justin Mac Carthy, Esquire, to be Colonial Secretary for the Island of Ceylon.
Whitehall, January 2, 1851. The Queen has been pleased to appoint William Murray, Esq. of Henderland, to be one of the Board of Supervision for Relief of the Poor in Scotland, in the room of Sir John McPherson Grant, Bart. deceased.
Whitehall, January 2, 1851. The Queen has been pleased to present the Reverend William Brown, D.D. to the church and parish of Cameron, in the presbytery of St. Andrew, and county of Fife, vacant by the transportation of the Reverend William Milligan, M.A. late minister thereof, to the church and parish of Kilconquhar.
