COURT OF COMMON PLEAS.

Hilary Term, in the 14th year of the reign of Queen Victoria.

Friday, the 24th day of January 1851. This Court will, on Thursday the 20th day of February next, hold a Sitting, and will proceed to give judgment in certain of the matters that will then be standing over for the consideration of the Court. John Jervis.

Then follows a warrant of the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury, dated the 18th day of January 1851, appointing, under the authority of "An Act to amend the laws relating to the Customs," a legal quay within the port of Cowes for the lading and unlading of goods.

Also an Order from the Poor Law Board, dated the 20th day of January 1851, directing that so much of the Act passed in the fourteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty, intituled "An Act to prevent the holding of vestry or other meetings in churches, and for regulating the appointment of vestry clerks," as relates to the appointment of a vestry clerk, shall forthwith be applied to and put in force within the parish of Portsmouth, in the county of Southampton.

NOTIFICATION.

IT is hereby notified, that Viscount Palmerston, Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, has received a Despatch, dated the 21st instant, from Her Majesty's Minister at Copenhagen, enclosing a copy of a note from the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs, informing him that the restrictions on the navigation of the Eyder, imposed in October last, being no longer necessary, have been taken off.

February 1, 1851. ALL Peeresses, on announcing their intention of being present on the occasion of the Opening of Parliament on Tuesday the 4th February, will have places reserved for them in the House of Lords, if the announcement be made at this Office before five o'clock on Monday the 3rd instant.

Peers' eldest Sons, wishing to be present at the Opening of Parliament, will have tickets for the Peers' eldest Sons' Box forwarded to them, upon a written or personal application at the Office. No Strangers can be admitted except by a ticket from the Lord Great Chamberlain.

The doors will be opened at twelve o'clock.
