Particular Stipulations.

(1) Bell-glasses belonging to clocks or to vases with artificial flowers, shades for lamps, etc., are free of duty when imported with the objects to which they belong.

Bottles imported in bond, to be filled for export, are free of duty.

(2) Subject to the stipulations relative to the duty for the gold and silversmiths' work. (3) Gold and silver wire manufactured with silk is classed with galloon.

(4) The import of gunpowder by land or by the small rivers, in quantities of more than 25 pds., is interdicted. 25 pds. or less may be imported, subject to the measures of precaution fixed by the law of the 26th Jan., 1815, art. 1, 2, 3 (Off. Journ, No. 7), for the inland transport of gunpowder, to which this import is assimilated. The import by the rivers is only permitted on the Rhine, the Maas, and the Scheldt by ships of not less than 40 tons burden.
