HE Right Honourable Sir George Grey, Bart.,

Tone of Her Majesty's Principal Secretaries of

State, having on the 24th day of December, 1862, appointed George Wingrove Cooke, Esq., Barrister-at-Law, to be a Commissioner under the Act 14 and 15 Vic., cap. 53, intituled "An Act "to consolidate and continue the Copyhold and "Inclosure Commissions, and to provide for the "completion of proceedings under the Tithe Com"mutation Acts;" the said George Wingrove Cooke has this day made a declaration before Sir George William Wilshere Bramwell, Knt., one of the Barons of Her Majesty's Court of Exchequer, for the due execution of the duties under the said Act.

The Right Honourable the Lords of the Committee of Privy Council for Trade give Notice, that the Moniteur of the 30th instant, contains a French Imperial Decree, abolishing from the 1st January, 1863, the drawbacks accorded by the Decrees of the 18th August, 1852, 19th January, 1856, 29th May, 1861, and 20th July, 1862 respectively, on the exportation of products derived from Salt.
