Hark! the glad sound! the Saviour comes, The Saviour promis'd long; Let ev'ry heart prepare a throne, And evry voice a song. He comes, the pris'ner to release In Satan's bondage held; The iron fetters yield. He comes from thickest films of sin To clear the mental ray;. To pour celestial day.. .
