The cottages H and I that have been contracted for must be equipped with fire-escapes and this sum will be sufficient for the purpose.

4. For completing and furnishing superintendent's

house ..

Last year the superintendent vacated his appartments at the institution and moved into a house belonging to the State but the money appropriated for the repairs to the same was not sufficiently large to put it in habitable con

dition. The amount herein asked for will do

that and properly furnish the same.

This amount will lay concrete sidewalks around the new buildings as well as make some changes in the roadway.

4,000 00

While it was hoped that the amount appropriated last year for cottages would furnish and equip the same, it is now discovered through the increase in cost of building material that such can not be done and this amount will be

essential for such purpose.

7. For repairs and equipment..
