Warships receiving permission for passage from West German authorities possess absolute priority of passage and enjoy the right of immunity. The weapons of warships must be unloaded. Warships have the right to refuse the services of pilots from the Canal Administration, but pilotage (or towing) is mandatory for them. Picture taking, sketching and other activities violating the rules of military security are forbidden within the limits of the canal zone. |
