GENERAL APPROPRIATION ACT OF 1907
AMENDED.

No. 516.

An Act to amend "An Act to make appropriations for the ordinary expenses of the executive, legislative and judicial departments of the government for the payment of the public debt and the interest thereon; for the support of the public institutions and the educational interests of the State, for each of the fiscal years 1908, and 1909; and for other purposes," approved August 22nd, 1907; by striking from Section 6 thereof certain provisions relative to the fees arising from the inspection of fertilizers, and the fees arising from the inspection of oils, and directing how these fees and other fees shall be used; and for other purposes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Georgia, and it is hereby enacted by authority of the same, That the above recited Act be, and the same is, hereby amended by striking from Section 6, lines 25, 26, 27, and 28, which read as follows, to-wit: State Chemist, The salaries of the State Chemist and his assistants, the fund for chemicals and chemical materials, and the salaries of the cattle inspectors appropriated above, shall be paid out of the fees arising from the inspection of fertilizers ;" and further amend said Section 6 by striking the following clause in lines 31, 32, and 33, as follows, to-wit: "The same to be paid out of the funds arising from the fees for inspecting fertilizers, as provided in Section 1384 of the Code of 1895;" and further amend said Section by striking lines 44, 45, and 46, which read as follows, to-wit: "The salaries above mentioned, and all the expenses aforesaid to be paid out of the fees arising from the inspection of oils, as provided in the Acts aforesaid."
