NOTE.-Abbreviations used: (b) barrio; (d) district; (m) municipality; (r) rancheria; (s) settlement; (t) township.

The words "rancheria" and "settlement" are used interchangeably, being Spanish and English equivalents. All rancherias mentioned are independent of any other municipal or township governments. Those indented are within the boundaries of the respective municipalities under which they are listed, but are independent of them in governmental matters. This last remark applies also to the rancherias under the municipalities of Bais, Guijulngan, and Tayasan, Oriental Negros.
