LEGISLATIVE COMPENSATION.

CHAPTER XXIV.

Amended.

In force.

An Act to amend an Act entitled an Act to Establish a
Fence Law in Albany, Carbon and Uinta Counties.
Be it Enacted by the Council and House of Representatives
of the Territory of Wyoming:

SECTION 1. That section one of the act of the Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Wyoming, approved on the 16th day of December, A. D. 1871, entitled an act to amend an act entitled "an act to establish a fence law in Albany, Carbon and Uinta counties," is hereby amended by inserting the words, "and in Sweetwater county," after the word 'county," in the sixth line of said section one.

SEC. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

CHAPTER XXV.

Repealed.

An Act for the Repeal of an Act fixing the Compensation of of Members of the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wyoming, and making an appropriation for that purpose, approved sixteenth December 1871. Be it Enacted by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wyoming:

SECTION 1. That an act fixing the compensation of members of the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wyoming, and making an appropriation for that purpose, approved 16th of December 1871, of the laws of the Territory of Wyoming, be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

CHAPTER XXVI.

An Act for the repeal of an Act fixing the Compensation of the Clerks and other Officers of the Legislative

Assembly of the Territory of Wyoming.

Be it Enacted by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wyoming.

SECTION 1. That an act fixing the compensation of the Repealed clerks and other officers of the Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Wyoming, approved 9th December 1871, of the laws of the Territory of Wyoming, be, and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2.

This act to take effect and be in force from In force and after its passage.

An Act entitled an Act to increase the number of Members of the Territorial Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wyoming.

Be it Enacted by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wyoming:

SECTION 1. That hereafter the Council of the Territory

of Wyoming shall consist of thirteen (13) members, and the council, thir House of Representatives of said Territory shall consist of teen. *wenty-seven (27) members.

An Act to amend an Act entitled "An Act Concerning
County Licenses.

Be it Enacted by the Council and House of Representatives
of the Territory of Wyoming:

SECTION 1. That section twelve of the act entitled “Ai act concerning county licenses," be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following after the word "character,” in the last line of said section, as amended by act of the Legislature of A. D., one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one: "Provided however, That the provisions of this section shall Shall not ap not apply to any fair, or exposition, held under the direction or management of the officers of any agricultural or industrial society, duly organized, on any enclosed grounds, owned, controlled or occupied by such society for that purpose, nor te any horse race, or trot, upon such grounds, or within any park, fair ground or inclosure, within this Territory, including the enclosed grounds known and designated as Emery Park," near Cheyenne, in Laramie county.'

CHAPTER XXIX.

An Act to amend an Act entitled "An Act for the Protection of the Owners of Timber and Saw Logs

in this Territory.

Be it Enacted by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wyoming :

SECTION 1. That an act entitled "an act for the protec tion of the owners of timber and saw logs in this Territory,

passed by the first Legislative Assembly, approved December 9th, 1869, be and the same is hereby amended by inserting the words "lumber, timber, railroad ties, poles, rails, posts or fire-wood," after the words "log or saw-logs," wherever the same occurs in said act, except in sections seven and eight of said act, which said sections seven and eight are hereby amended by inserting after the word "lumber," where the same occurs in said sections seven and eight, the words "railroad ties, poles, rails, posts, or fire-wood.”

SEC. 3. This act shall take effect and be in force on and in force, after its passage.

CHAPTER XXX.

An Act to amend an Act entitled an Act Concerning County
Licenses.

Be it Enacted by the Council and House of Representatives
of the Territory of Wyoming:

That section fourteen of an act concerning licenses, approved Amended. December 9, A. D. 1869, being chapter eighteen of the laws of Wyoming, be and the same is hereby amended as follows: That the words "one hundred" be stricken out of the eighth line of said section, and the word "twenty-five" be inserted in lieu thereof.

SEG. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from in force, and after its passage.

CHAPTER XXXI.

An Act to provide for Records, Furniture and Stationery for the Office of Clerk of the Supreme Court of Wyoming Territory, and making an appropriation therefor.

Be it Enacted by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Wyoming:

SECTION 1. That the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150), or as much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Territorial treasury, not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose Desk for clerk of providing a desk, a case arranged alphabetically for records and stationery, for the use of the clerk's office of the supreme court of Wyoming Territory: Provided, That the same shall be expended under and by the direction of at least two of the judges of the supreme court.

An Act to authorize the Publication of the Proceedings of the Boards of the County Commissioners of this Territory, and for other Purposes.

SECTION 1.
