Te Deum Laudamus.

We praise Thee, O God: we acknowledge Thee to be the Lord.

All the Earth doth worship Thee the Father Everlasting.

To Thee all angels cry aloud the Heavens, and all the Powers therein;

To Thee Cherubim and Seraphim continually do cry,

Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of Sabaoth; Heaven and Earth are full of the majesty : of Thy glory.

The glorious company of the Apostles : praise Thee.

The goodly fellowship of the Prophets : praise Thee.

The noble army of Martyrs praise Thee. The Holy Church throughout all the world `: doth acknowledge Thee;

The Father of an Infinite Majesty;
Thine adorable, true and glorious Son;
Also the Holy Ghost the Comforter.

Thou art the King of Glory : O Christ.
Thou art the. Everlasting Son of the

Father.

When Thou tookest upon Thee to deliver man : Thou didst clothe Thyself in flesh and dwelt amongst us.

When Thou hadst overcome the sharpness of death:

Thou didst open the Kingdom of Heaven to all believers.

Thou sittest at the right hand of God in the glory of Thy Father.

We believe that Thou shalt come to be our

Judge.

We therefore pray Thee help Thy servants : whom Thou

Hast redeemed by Thy Precious Love. Make them to be numbered with Thy Saints: in glory everlasting.

O Lord save Thy people and bless Thine
heritage.

Govern them and lift them up for ever.
Day by day we magnify Thee;

And we worship Thy Name ever, world without end.

Vouchsafe, O Lord to keep us this day with

out sin.

O Lord, have mercy upon us have mercy

upon us.

O Lord, let Thy mercy be upon us as our trust is in Thee.

O Lord, in Thee have I trusted let me never be confounded.

Here, if so desired, may be said
The Apostles' Creed.

After the Creed, or, if the Creed has not been said, at the close of Te Deum Laudamus, the Minister, turning to the people, shall say, and the People respond,

People. The Lord also be with thee.

ever.

Minister alone.

Creator of the Universe, our Father, Who art the Life of the myriad worlds above us and the fruitful earth around us, we look to Thee. Thou art the Vigor of the nourishing soil, the Virtue of the refreshing streams, and the one Sole Source of those deeper and more wonderful springs which rise within us unto everlasting life. And now we lift our hearts to Thee. All things come of Thee, and for all we give Thee thanks.

We bless Thee for the wisdom of the wise, for every true word spoken, and for every good thing done. We bless Thee for all the light

and glory which stream upon us from Thine everlasting throne, for the light and truth of Thy prophets and seers, the mighty leaders of our race, and for the beauty of holiness which shines upon us from the lowly ones with whom we live. But more than all we bless and praise Thee for that grace and truth which come to us through our dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. And though the veil of sense hangs dark between Thyself and us, and our sins and the changing shadows of this earthly life obscure our inward vision, yet we love and trust Thee, Lord. We rejoice to know that Thou art ever with us and that darkness and light are both alike to Thee.

now

Thou dost bid us seek and we shall find; ask and we shall surely have whatever is necessary for our true welfare, both now and forever. And so we come to seek Thee here, to adore Thy Holy Name, and bless Thee for Thy great goodness to us and to all our race. Speak, O God, to every loving spirit here before Thee. Appear to every longing heart in this and every world this day. Unite us in one communion. Strengthen us by Thy grace and holy inspiration, and enable us so to fulfil Thy will that we may be what Thou wouldst have us be, eyes to the blind, feet to the lame, as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land to all with whom we live, whom Thou hast taught us to love and appointed us to serve, so that the wilderness and the solitary places of the world shall be glad for us and the

Minister and People.

Almighty God, Who hast given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplications unto Thee, and dost promise that when two or three are gathered together in Thy Name Thou will grant their requests; fulfil now, O Lord, the desires and petitions of Thy servants as may be most expedient for them, granting us in this world knowledge of Thy truth, and in the world to come the joy and peace of everlasting life. Amen.

Minister alone.

Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ be with us all forevermore. Amen.
