Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United [Private, No. 185.] States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Sarah Bowers, widow of Joseph R. Bowers, late captain Company F, Third Tennessee Volunteer Mounted Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.

Chandler, late of Captain West's company of Tennessee Volunteers, Cherokee disturbances, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of George C. Leighton, late of Company É, First Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, war with Mexico, and pay him a pension at the rate of fifteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Samuel M. Graves, late of Company G, Tenth Regiment New York Volunteer Heavy Artillery, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month, the same to be paid to him under the rules of the Pension Bureau as to mode and times of payment, without any deduction or rebate on account of former alleged overpayments or erroneous payments of pension.
