Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John S. Lewis, dependent father of John M. Lewis, late private, Company L, Third Regiment United States Infantry, war with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John Garner, late of Captain Reid's, Story's, and Hamilton's companies of Georgia Volunteers, Creek and Florida Indian wars, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Frances K. Morrison, widow of John Morrison, junior, late first lieutenant, Fourth Regiment United States Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving, and two dollars per month additional on account of the minor child of said John Morrison, junior, until she reaches the age of sixteen years. Andrews, widow of George L. Andrews, late colonel Second Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry and brigadier-general, United States Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United [Private, No. 260.] States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Ann Demonbrun, widow of Francis M. Demonbrun, late of Company D, Second Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving: Provided, That in the case of the death of the helpless child, Sallie Demonbrun, on whose account the pension of Ann Demonbrun is increased, the pension of said Ann Demonbrun shall continue only at the rate of eight dollars per month from and after the date of death of said helpless child.
