1A. B. do Swear, That 1 do from my Heart Abbor, Detest, and Abjure\ as Impious and Heretical, that Damnable Doctrine and Position, That Princes excommunicated or deprived, by the Pope, or any Authority of the See of Rome, may be deposed or murthered by their Subjects, or any other whatsoever.

And 1 do declare, That no Foreign Prince,

Person, Prelate, State, or Potentate, bath,

or ought to have any Jurisdiction, Power,

Superiority, Preeminence, or Authority, Eccle

. siastical or Spiritual, within this Realm.

So help me God, &c.

The following Oaths are also to be taken by the Officers, Members, and Clerk, respectively.

The Master, and Master's Deputies
Oath.

*endeaendeavour, that all and every the Orders, Constitutions, and Ordinances heretofore made and established, for the good Government of the said Guild, and now in force, or at any Time or Times hereafter, during your being Master there, shall be made and ordained for the same Government may be duly maintained and kept, as well in your own Person, as in all others of the same Guild, according to the Intent and true Meaning of the same Orders, Constitutions, and Ordinances, and every of them; And in all Matters and Causes of the said Guild, or referred thither forth of the Court of the Admiralty, or by, or from the Judge thereof, or any his lawful Surrogate, Substitute, or Deputy there for the Time being, to be determined, decided, or reported. You shall indifferently, and without respect of Persons, or unnecessary delay, seek to bring to an End, as to Justice appertained. In the Execution of your Office or Place, you shall spare or for-' ; bear no Man for favour or love, or ; grieve or vex any Man for Malice or : Hate. Extortion or Wrong under co'lour of your Place shall you not do,

The Warden, and Warden's Deputies Oath.

'Y'O U Jhall Swear, That you Jhall well and truly oversee this Guild, Fraternity, er Brotherhood, whereof you be chosen one os the Wardens for the Time now to come, and all the good Orders, Constitutions, and Ordinances of the fame Guild, jrom Time to Time, as they be in force, shall you keep and cause to be kept, according to the Intent and true

Mean

Meaning of the same Orders, Constitutions* and Ordinances, and every of them; and all the Defaults and Offences that you /ball find in the feme Guild to be made, done, or committed, ye shall well and truly present or cause to he presented, at the next Court to be boldest for the said Guild, sparing therein no Man for favour or love, or vexing any Person for malice or hate. Te shall not seek either suddenly or unnecessarily, to withdraw or exempt your self from the Execution of your Office or Place, before the Time appointed you, be expired and ended. Extortion or Wrong under colour of your Office, ye /hall not do, or procure to be done, neither to any Thing that shall he against the King's Majesty's Peace, his Crown and Dignity, or the Weal and Profit of this Guild, shall you yield your Consent, but lets and hinder the same what you may. And for the Time that ye shall be in your Office or Place of Warden, in all things that {hall be belonging unto the fame Guild, after the Orders and Customs thereof, well and lawfully you shall behave your self. So help you God.

The Assistant and Assistants Deputies Oath.
