thanksgiving. Abide with me and further me with Thy continual help, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

MERCIFULLY accept, O Lord, this our

service and grant that we, striving to do Thy will on earth as it is done in Heaven, may there with Thy holy Angels ever praise Thy blessed Name.

FORGIVE us, O Lord, wherein we have

failed to offer Thee acceptable worship, and grant that our prayers may be brought into Thy presence in Heaven, there to be offered before Thy divine majesty, through the merits and intercession of Thy blessed Son our Lord.

BLESSED be Thy Name, O Lord God,

for that it hath pleased Thee to have Thy habitation among the sons of men, and to dwell in the midst of the assembly of the saints upon the earth: Grant, we beseech Thee, that in this place set apart to Thy service Thy holy Name may be worshipped in truth and purity through all generations; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

EXAMEN IN SINGULOS DIES

the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Try me, O God, and seek the ground of my heart;

Prove me, and examine my thoughts.

O Holy Spirit, show me wherein I have this day sinned against God, against my neighbor, against myself.

Help me to recall:

What "idle words" (St. Matt. xii, 36) I

may have spoken.

What business I have transacted.

What work and duty I have done.

What amusements I have engaged in.

What I have read; what I have written.

What trials I have had to meet.
What temptations have assailed me.

What blessings have come to me.

Show me wherein I have failed:
In courtesy and kindness.

In helpful service.
