In presenting volume 89 to the profession, it may be of interest to note that the 31 volumes of reports issued since I assumed the duties of the office of Reporter, covering the opinions filed during the years 1886 to 1891, both inclusive, contain 3,090 cases, averaging about 100 cases to the volume. Sickness delayed the publication of volume 88, but volume 90 will be nearly printed by the time volume 89 is issued, and will embrace most of the cases decided at the January term, 1892; and it is confidently expected that the opinions filed during the April and June terms will also be in type prior to the opening of the October session of the Court. |
