The Queen has been pleased to grant unto William Parsons, of Yeabridge, in the parish of South Petherton, in the county of Somerset, Gentleman, son of George Parsons, late of Charlton Horethorne, in the said county, Gentleman, deceased, by Jane, his wife, sister of John Weston Peters, late of Bridge House, in the parish of South Petherton aforesaid, Gentleman, also deceased, Her royal licence and authority that he may, in compliance with an injunction contained in the last will and testament of his maternal uncle, the said John Weston Peters, take and henceforth bear the surname of Peters, in addition to and after his present surname, and take and bear the arms of Peters, and that such surname and arms may in like manner be taken and borne by his issue; such arms being first duly exemplified according to the laws of arms and recorded in the Herald's Office, otherwise the said royal licence and permission to be void and of none effect :

And also to command that the said royal concession and declaration be recorded in Her Majesty's College of Arms.

The Right Honourable the Lords of the Com

mittee of Privy Council for Trade and Plantations

have received information, through the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, that all vessels coming from Bengazi, the States of Barbary, Syria, Egypt, Gibraltar, and Malta, will be required to perform Quarantine, according to the Swedish Quarantine Regulations, at Kenzoe, in the Cattegat, and to be furnished with clean Bills of Health, by the Quarantine Authorities at that place, previously to being admitted into Russian Ports, in the Baltic Sea.

The Right Honourable the Lords of the Committee of Privy Council for Trade and Plantations have received, through the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, a copy of a Despatch from Her Majesty's Consul, at Lisbon, enclosing copy of a Portuguese Royal Decree, permitting the free importation of Wheat, Rye, and Barley, in Grain, Flour, or Bread, into the Inland Stations and Seaports of the districts of Oporto, Braga, Vianna, Villa Real, and Braganza, until the end of May, 1859.
