1 PART in peace; with deep thanksgiving, 2 Let thy voice, with sweet commanding,

Rendering, as we homeward tread,

Gracious service to the living,

Tranquil memory to the dead.

Bid our griefs and struggles end; Peace which passeth understanding On our waiting spirits send.

CHESTER. 88 & 7s.

MODERN HARP (by permission).

Prayer for Guidance.

HASTINGS. 2 Oh may all enjoy the blessing

1 GENTLY, Lord, oh! gently lead us
Through this lonely vale of tears,
Through the changes thou'st decreed us,
Till our last great, change appears.

2 When temptation's darts assail us,
When in devious paths we stray,
Let thy goodness never fail us;
Lead us in thy perfect way.

3 In the hour of pain and anguish,
In the hour when death draws near,
Suffer not our hearts to languish,
Suffer not our souls to fear.

4 And, when mortal life is ended,
May we wake among the blest;
And, by all the saints attended,
Ever on thy bosom rest!

Which thy word's designed to give! Let us all, thy love possessing, Joyfully the truth receive.

1 MAY the grace of Christ our Saviour, And the Father's boundless love, With the Holy Spirit's favor,

Rest upon us from above!

2 Thus may we abide in union

With each other and the Lord, And possess, in sweet communion, Joys which earth cannot afford!

God our Constant Benefactor.
1 My Maker and my King,
To thee my all I owe :
Thy sovereign bounty is the spring
Whence all my blessings flow.

2 Thou ever good and kind,
A thousand reasons move,
A thousand obligations bind,
My heart to grateful love.
3 The creature of thy hand,
On thee alone I live:
My God! thy benefits demand
More praise than tongue can give.

4 Oh let thy grace inspire

My soul with strength divine;
Let all my powers to thee aspire,
And all my days be thine!
