AFTER an unprecedented sale of the small 8vo. edition of Alison's "History of Europe," the Publishers have prepared another edition (the Eighth), printed on fine paper, demy Svo. with a bold clear type, and illustrated with portraits. This, it is presumed, will form the Standard Library edition. The first volume will appear at the end of the present month.
