XLVIII.-The Present Participle can be preceded by two sorts of En-the first a Preposition, the second a Pronoun.

This construction, however, should be sparingly used, as it is not very harmonious, and should be avoided if the Present Participle should commence with En or Em, as en en emportant, en en allant chercher d'autres. En en cherchant d'autres.
