feree or assignee shall, at least five days before taking possession of such merchandise, or merchandise and fixtures, or paying therefor, notify personally or by registered mail, every creditor whose name and address are stated in said list, or of which he has knowledge of the proposed sale and of the price, terms and conditions thereof.

Sec. 2. Sellers, transferrers and assignors, purchasers, transferees and assignees, under this act, shall include corporations, associations, copartnerships and individuals. But nothing contained in this act shall apply to sales by executors, administrators, receivers, trustees in bankruptcy, or any public officer under judicial process.

Sec. 3. Any purchaser, transferee or assignee, who shall not conform to the provisions of this act, shall upon application of any of the creditors of the seller, transferrer or assignor, become a receiver and be held accountable to such creditors for all the goods, wares, merchandise and fixtures that have come into his possession by virtue of such sale, transfer or assignment: Provided, however, That any purchaser, transferee, or assignee, who shall conform to the provisions of this act shall not be held in any way accountable to any creditor of the seller, transferrer or assignor, or to the seller, transferrer or assignor for any of the goods, wares, merchandise or fixtures that have come into the possession of said purchaser, transferee or assignee by virtue of such sale, transfer or assignment.

Sec. 4. An act in relation to the sale of stocks of goods in bulk, approved February 26, 1903, being sections 2678, 2679 and 2680 of the Revised Statutes of Colorado, 1908. and all acts and parts of acts inconsistent or in conflict with any of the provisions of this act, are hereby repealed. GAME AND FISH.

RABBITS AND HARES-OPEN SEASON.

AN ACT

TO REGULATE THE HUNTING, TRAPPING OR KILLING OF
RABBITS AND HARES.

Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:

Section 1. It shall be unlawful to pursue, take or Unlawful to kill, during the months of March, April, May, June, July, August and September of any year, any rabbit or rabbits or any hare or hares excepting jack rabbits; Provided, however, That in any county or parts of a county where any of the above named game shall be found to be damaging crops or fruit trees and shrubs of any kind, permission may be secured by the board of county commissioners of said destructive. county for the county and by any three farmers for a part of a county not greater than a township where they reside. from the State Game and Fish Commissioner to kill such game; and it shall be the duty of the State Game and Fish Commissioner to grant such permission when so requested.

Sec. 2. Every person, or persons, violating any of the provisions of this act, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine or not more than $25.00 or by imprisonment in the county jail not more than ten days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

AN ACT

IN RELATION TO THE OFFICERS AND EMPLOYES OF THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF COLORADO.

Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:

Section 1. Until otherwise provided the officers and employes of the respective houses of the General Assembly of Colorado may be and shall not exceed the following, who shall be appointed irrespective of and without regard to the classified service of the civil service of the state:

OF THE SENATE:

A secretary, assistant secretary, reading clerk, bill clerk, docket clerk, sergeant-at-arms, two assistant sergeants-at-arms, chaplain, chief enrolling clerk, with not more than one assistant enrolling clerk, chief printing clerk, with not more than one assistant printing clerk, two messengers, one doorkeeper and one assistant doorkeeper. janitor for chamber, janitor for committee rooms, one janitor for cloak room and gallery, telephone messenger, night watchman, matron for women's gallery, four pages, and clerks for each of the following named committees, as fol lows: Judiciary, one; revision, two; finance, one; corporations and railroads, and banking and insurance, one jointly; the committees on agriculture and irrigation, and education and educational institutions may have one jointly; and six other committee clerks to be assigned by the president of the senate to the remaining committees, as required.

Provided, That at any time during the session, two additional clerks for the revision and engrossment and enrollment committees may be appointed, provided the senate, by resolution, has declared that an emergency exists and that there is need for such employes.

In addition to the foregoing, there shall be appointed by the president of the senate one stenographer for the president of the senate and one senate reporter.

There shall also be appointed by the speaker of the house, with the consent of a majority of the members thereof, one house reporter, one stenographer for the speaker, one assignable stenographer and one mail clerk; Provided, That at any time during the session, two additional clerks for the enrollment committee may be appointed, provided the house, by resolution, has declared that an emergency exists and that there is need for such employes. Sec. 2. All such officers and employes, except as herein otherwise provided, shall be selected by the house employing them, and they shall perform the duties usually performed by like officers and employes, and such other duties as may be required of them by the house employing them. All clerks herein provided for shall be assignable and all printing clerks shall be skilled and competent proof readers.

Sec. 3. The officers and employes of the General Assembly shall receive compensation as follows:
