REORGANIZATION PLANS NOS. 1, 2, AND 3 OF 1946

The committee convened at 10 a. m., the Honorable Carter Manasco, chairman, presiding.

The CHAIRMAN. The committee will be in order.

We have met this morning in consideration of three resolutions introduced by the Honorable William Pittenger, House Concurrent Resolution 151 which proposes to reject Reorganization Plan No. 2; House Concurrent Resolution 154 which proposes to reject Reorganization Plan No. 3; and House Concurrent Resolution 155 which proposes to reject Reorganization Plan No. 1.

With that objection, copies of the resolutions will be placed in the record at this point.

CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That the Congress does not favor the Reorganization Plan Numbered 1 of May 16, 1946, transmitted to Congress by the President on the 16th of May 1946.

[H. Con. Res. 151, 79th Cong., 2d sess.]

CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That the Congress does not favor the Reorganization Plan Numbered 2 of May 16, 1946, transmitted to Congress by the President on the 16th day of May 1946.

CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That the Congress does not favor the Reorganization Plan Numbered 3 of May 16, 1946, transmitted to Congress by the President on the 16th day of May 1946.
