POSTSCRIPT from the London Gazette.

Camp before Prague, June 8. Two bridges carried away by the floods have been repaired, and the communication between the two armies.teestablished. A fmall redoubt with 80 men and 3 pieces of cannon was furpriz'd on the 3d, and the cannon carried away by the Auftrians; the lofs of men was inconfiderable, about 12 or 15 on each side. Chevaux de frise have been placed on the edge of the foffe, which will make future attempts to furprize the redoubts more difficult. Till Mon day our batteries played inceffantly, and kept the town on fire night and day in feveral places; but has fince abated, and there is hardly a fhot fired from the town. Deferters fay, that even the fubaltern officers have no meat, and that the garrifon be gan to kill their horfes on Monday. Count Daun's army has quitted a ftrong poft on the high grounds near Kuttenburg, and is retiring to Teutfch Brod, towards Moravia. The Prince of Bevern follows them in their re treat, and has taken about 80 prifoners, and killed 40 or 50 men. Lieut. Col. Meyer continues his operations with fuccefs on the fide of Nuremberg, where the senate have fent to the king defiring a neutrality, and it is hoped the whole circle of Franconia will follow this ex.ample.

Hague, June 17. The Prince of Bevern is approached nearer Count Daun, on his left flank; an action is therefore expected, unless he retires.

Capt. Parker, of his Britannic majefty's fhip the Squirrel, is arrived at Embden, where he has ftopt all the forage which was carried that way to the French army.

Hague, June 24. From the 14th to the 16th inftant his R. H. the D. of Cumberland paffed the Weser without interruption, notwithstanding an attack on the rear guard at Bielefeld and Hervord, in which the enemy was repulfed with confiderable lofs. The lofs on the fide of the allies confifted of 44 men, killed, wounded and Prisoners. The French themselves own they gained no advantage over the rear guard of the allied army, and that they fuffered confiderably in the attack.

Cologn, June 20. The fiege of Gueldre was begun laft Wednesday.

Bruffels, June 24. Our laft advices from M. d'Eftrees's army are of the 21ft, but contain nothing of moment fince their arrival at Bielefield.
