Interpretation.

III. In the Construction of this Act the Word "Person " shall include a Partnership, Firm, a Joint Stock Company, and a Corporation.

Amend the Law of Partnership.

HEREAS it is expedient to amend the Law relating to Preamble. Partnership: Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present 5 Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, as follows: I. This Act shall not apply to the Business of a Banker.

II. The Term "Trader" shall include any Person, Partnership, Definition of Company, or Body Corporate carrying on any Trade, Business, or Undertaking.

III. No Person making a Loan to any Trader shall be deemed to Lender not be a Partner of or to be subject to any Liabilities incurred by such to be deemed Trader by reason only that he receives as a Compensation for such Loan a Portion of the Profits made in any Business carried on by such Trader.
