Let those refuse to sing That never knew our God, But fav'rites of the heav'nly King May speak their joys abroad. Then let our songs abound, We're marching thro' Immanuel's ground, 190. Faith in Christ our Sacrifice. Not all the blood of beasts On Jewish altars slain, Could give the guilty conscience peace, But Christ the heav'nly Lamb, S. M. My soul looks back to see The burdens thou didst bear When hanging on the cursed tree, And hopes her guilt was there.
