Appointed to fill vacancy expiring first Monday of January, 1901. No jury shall be summoned for either of the terms to be held in the months of Januuary and June. Sec. 2424, W. S. of 1898. *No jury shall be summoned for the special terms. Sec. 2424, W. S. 18938. At any general or special term any and all business may be done arising or pend ing in any county in said circuit which might be done at a general term in the several counties except the trial of issues of fact by a jury. Said court for the county of Brown shall be deemed to be open for the transaction of business from the commencement of one regular term to the commencement of another, and an adjournment of the term from day to day shall not be necessary to the validity of any proceeding therein. * * The jurors for each term in the counties of Brown, Oconto and Marinette shall be summoned to appear at or before 9 o'clock A. M. on the second day thereof. Sec. 21, W. S. 1898. * * No jury shall be summoned for any such term if the presiding judge of the circuit shall file an order with the clerk of the court for any county therein, at least fifteen days before any general term in such county, directing that no jury shall be summoned; such order may be made whenever it shall appear that there is no necessity for a jury. Said judge may adjourn any general or special term of such court to the next ensuing general term or beyond the time fixed for holding general terms thereof in any county in the circuit. |
