READERS! four folks who've not got much to do, Now humbly dedicate this book to you;

Have but my First and Last, then without doubt In less than no time you will find us out.

1. "The ghost of Cæsar hath appeared to me
Two several times-at Sardis once,
And this last night here."

2. A gloomy river in a gloomy place,
Whose path no mortal e'er will trace.

3. Legends of Jewish law in me you find, Traditions old, both false and true, combined.
