CAN 331B B Entered according to Act of the Parliament of Canada, in the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety, by CARSWELL & Co., in the office of the Minister of Agriculture. PRINTED BY THOS. MOORE & Co., LAW PRINTERS TORONTO. PREFACE. A PERUSAL and consideration of the Bills of Exchange Act, 1890, made necessary by the active practice of my profession, induced the belief that simply an Index to the Act, carefully and accurately prepared, would commend itself to those in my profession, or in business, having frequent occasion to refer to the law. With a hope that my belief will be justified I present its result, which, if found useful, will be my reward. J. A. B. 14/8 У 880 56 53 VICTORIA. CHAPTER 33.
