AN ACT

To annul the marriage contract of James G. Wilson and Sarah Catharine Wilson

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the marriage contract entered into between James G. Wilson and Sarah Catharine Wilson, his wife, be and the same is hereby annulled and made void, and the parties released and discharged from the said contract, and from all legal duties and obligations arising therefrom, as fully and effectually as if they had never been joined in marriage.

WHEREAS, James W. Guthrie, of Clarion county, Pennsylvania, did, on the twentieth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and thirtyseven, apply for a warrant for four hundred acres of land, situate in Ridgway township, Jefferson county, on account of which he paid into the treasury of Pennsylvania one hundred and eleven dollars and seventeen cents, as per receipt, dated February twentieth, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-seven, signed by the honorable Daniel Sturgeon, state

And whereas, The said warrant was, by mistake, located by the deputy surveyor of Jefferson county, on land then already warranted and appropriated; therefore,

Supplementary to an act, entitled "An act authorizing the laying out of a state road from Haverling's mills, in West Buffalo township, in Union county, to Elk creek, Miles township, Centre county, and for other purposes."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That Michael Kleckner, Robert G. A SUPPLEMENT

To" An Act to incorporate the Pittsburg and Connellsville railroad company," passed April third, eighteen hundred and thirty-seven.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the Pittsburg and Connellsville railroad company be and they are hereby authorized to make and construct a railroad, with one or more tracks, from the city of Pittsburg to any point within this state, suitable to form a connection with the Pennsylvania railroad company, at such point or place as may be mutually agreed upon by the president and directors of the said Pennsylvania railroad company, and the president and directors of the Pittsburg and Connellsville railroad company: And be it further enacted, That the Pittsburg and Connellsville railroad company be and they are hereby authorized to construct a railroad, with one or more tracks, from any point at or near the city of Pittsburg, to such point on from Pittsburg to the line of the state of Ohio, as may be determined upon by the president and directors of said company; and the commencement of the construction of said road, in the direction of the state of Ohio, within two years after the passage of this act, shall be construed to be a compliance with the conditions contained in the seventeenth section of the act to which this is a supplement: Provided, That if a connection shall be agreed upon, as provided for in this act, between the said Pittsburg and Connellsville railroad company and the Pennsylvania railroad company, then the said Pennsylvania railroad company shall be released from any obligation to commence their road at the city of Pittsburg, and from constructing that portion of their line lying between the said point of connection and the said city of Pittsburg; but if the said companies do not mutually agree to connect their said railroads, as aforesaid, then and in that case the said Pennsylvania railroad company Connections may may connect their railroad, or any branch thereof, in, at or near the city of Pittsburg, or other suitable point or points in the county of Allegheny, with any railroad made by the said Pittsburg and Connellsville railroad company, in pursuance of this act; the said connections to be made in such manner and form as may be proper and convenient to con. stitute a continuous and uninterrupted line of railroad; and the tolls, motive power and other charges on any railroad made, as aforesaid, by the Pittsburg and Connellsville railroad company, when the cars or other vehicles used thereon are furnished by others, shall not exceed the rates authorized to be charged in like cases by the Pennsylvania railroad company; nor shall any charge be made on any such railroad, exceeding three cents per mile for each through passenger, and three and one-half cents per mile for each way passenger: And provided further, That if the provisions of this act shall be accepted by said Pittsburg and Connellsville railroad company, and they shall commence either of the roads hereby authorized, they may, within sixty days after due public notice shall have been given of the same, permit any stockholder, who shall be dissatisfied thereby, to withdraw his subscription. and refund to such withdrawing subscriber the amount of instalment he
